Don't Mess with Texas
When I started to think about my shirts as more of a collection, I wanted to get a "Don't mess with Texas" shirt, which I thought of as kind of a classic of yesteryear's t-shirts, an early well-known tee. My opportunity came in 2002, during a 4-hour layover at the Dallas/Ft. Worth airport, en-route to a school trip to study at a language school in Mexico. Its still the only time that I have set foot in Texas, so I think that provides a degree of legitimacy to me wearing it. I'm not gonna front like I'm from there, or know much about the state as a whole, but I admire that it has such a forceful state saying. (official state motto of TX: "Friendship")
The design is not the classic shirt that I was thinking of, which features the state flag. This is like the millenium, web 2.0 version. Its kind of stupid/pointless that the T and S are so big, I think it'd look better if they were the same size as the rest of the word.
